Practice Profile
Dorman Architects was established in 1995. RIAI Practice Accredited in Conservation Grade III.
Our current work includes residential, conservation and commercial projects.
Our aim is to design buildings which rise above the ordinary to combine all that is practical and necessary with something that is humane and beautiful. A central theme of our projects is the optimisation of light, space and views.
Our design-led approach leads to quality buildings, which are accessible, energy efficient, sustainable and cost effective. Whilst embracing the emerging new technologies and innovations, we continue to encourage the natural beauty of handcrafted workmanship.
Working closely with our clients we develop a clear understanding of their specific requirements, with each project viewed as a new opportunity to create an individual design. As the client's representative we help to resolve on-site problems and remove the stress associated with construction through good communication and effective management of the building process.
