Presentations of SmartGeometry Conference Go Live

From the recreation of Antonio Gaudi’s complex geometries for the completion of the monumental Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona to the 3D printing of structures on the lunar surface – the 2010 Smart Geometry Conference discussed pioneer applications of 3D software in Barcelona on 23-24 March.
Conceived as a partnership between practice and academy, the conference brought together leading researchers in 3D design with built environment professionals. Papers by Xavier De Kestelier (Foster + Partners), Hanif Kara (Adams Kara Taylor), Mark Burry (RMIT University Melbourne) and many others are now available on the SmartGeometry Conference website here:
