Irish Architectural Technology Students Meet with Richard Rogers Architect

Architectural Technology students and lecturers from Letterkenny Institute of Technology at LYIT have been working on a study project on the award-winning Maggi'se Centre at Charing Cross, London by Richard Rogers Architects. When visiting the project, the received a tour by the Project Architect. The students were also given an introduction to the RSH-P architectural offices in London where they were introduced to Richard Rogers.
Richard Rogers is the founding partner in RSH-P architectural practice which won the Stirling Prize for Architecture in 2009 - electing its design for the Maggie's Centre as 'Best Architectural Design in Britain' in that year. Rogers also designed the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Lloyds Building in London, and Terminal 5 at Heathrow in London, among many of the world's most prominent buildings.
